Spoons
The spoon lure design is simpleis and the lure is usually a concave metal piece resembling a spoon. The spoon lure is mainly used to attract fish by reflecting light and moving randomly and was invented by Julio T. Buel in 1848.
Fishermen have found (not proven) that by using different colour variations on a spoon it can help catch fish. Since this spoons with multiple colour options have been available, and different materials have also been used.
My personal favorite spoon is Abu Garcias Atom that catches perch and pike. |
